ARDSLEY — The days are numbered for the gazebo at Pascone Park. The plan to renovate the park by next spring includes replacing the gazebo with a circular stage and a canopy. The plan also includes a new playground and a new path with lights around the lawn that borders Ashford Avenue.
Upgrades to Pascone Park, as well as Bicentennial Park, Silliman Park, and the community center, are part of a proposed capital budget for 2024-25 that the Ardsley Board of Trustees intends to vote on before the end of the summer. The improvements would be the first to result from the parks and recreation master plan the board approved in 2023.
Weston & Sampson of Albany, which the board hired to create the master plan, presented the proposal for Pascone Park during the board’s meeting on June 3.
