Experts give plants-in-the-ground advice

On a cold winter weekend, a group of gardeners was deciding what to plant this coming spring during the second session of the three-part series, “Creating Your Pollinator Garden,” which took place at the Greenburgh Public Library in Elmsford on Saturday, Feb. 15. 

This series is a collaboration of the Ardsley Pollinator Pathway, the Greenburgh Public Library, and the Tarrytown Environmental Advisory Council (TEAC) Pollinator Pathway. Participants could attend one session or all three, but the organizers noted in their sign-up materials that this was an “action-oriented workshop series,” and participants were asked to commit to creating a garden for pollinators, no matter how small.
