
Katie Reidy’s murals have become part of the fabric of communities from Hastings to Brooklyn to Mexico, and now an exhibition of her vibrant art is opening in Dobbs Ferry at the Donald Gallery in South Presbyterian Church this Sunday, Feb. 16.
Most of the 26 works that will be on display include spray paint on canvas, along with a mix of acrylic paint, paint markers, and collage, featuring images Reidy created before she cut them out and repurposed them. The collection is titled “This Heart Contains,” named after the gallery space in the Galleria that Reidy, an Ossining resident, occupied from 2021 until a few months before that White Plains mall closed in 2023.
